woowies. yesterday's national day celebrations cum awards-giving ceremony was kinda sucky. it was actually kinda BLAAH. i mean, the show was about ... let's see ... thirty minutes or so? the parade probably took longer. hahah. poor poor guys and gals who were standing or sitting in the sun in the parade square.
had to come early coz prize-winners had to report at 7. first time i came to school so early. i mean, my gosh. the place is totally dark and deserted. ugh. thank goodness damien and jiantao were there so i waited with them while they did their english homework which was due that day. -rolls eyes- who gives homework due on the eve of national day??
of course, naturally, a total idiot had to ruin the soon-to-be enjoyable morning by dissing my shoes. i mean, like i know it's the wrong colour and i was actually trying to get help from my friends and you come over to DISS MY SHOES ?!?! of all the nerve of that guy. how your girlfriend stands you is beyond my knowing. either that or she's super stupid. at least everyone else thought it was better to help out by finding someone to temporarily exchange shoes so that i could go on-stage.
thank goodness my savior appeared on cue. hhahaha. thanks so much for lending me your shoes, dahh~ling. -mwahs- ahahah. you looked so sexy in my shoes. XD i mean it literally. hahah. although i have to admit your shoes are totally plain though. ALL-WHITE. lols. i owe you one for this. thanks so much. =))
laterr went out for lunch with lydia at city hall. we ate at some american version of chinese take-out. i felt it was more like japanese food. yeah-ha. i totally loved it though. i must buy it back for dinner one night. i mean, it's totally DE~LISH. korkor, we must go there to eat one day. =)
met up with jimmy and cheng long later that evening. we were going to watch the fireworks at the esplanade with weiqing and sihui as well. cheng long and i kept arguing and joking. hahaha. it's totally funny and duh, annoying. later me & cheng long got split up from the rest of them so we walked around and sat on the 'stages' where the butterflymen were previously dancing on before we were shooed off by security. lols. it was kinda nice but it only lasted for fifteen minutes for which we waited for more than an hour. hais. quite a waste.
me and cheng long ran off to marina square after that. went to inspect the tamiya .. er ... convention? lols. it was totally kewl. i mean all those little models of tanks and ships. we planned to go for a late-night snack when the others found us later. we wanted to go bowling but it was totally crowded so we went to ps to eat at kfc before leaving. i was kinda angry with jimmy but later i forgave him coz i knew i couldnt stay angry with him. i mean, it's so easy to forgive your close friends. yuupps. anyways, i had a pretty good time overall. wish it could have been better though.
maybe one day i would go with youu to watch the fireworks.
but for now, i'll wait for the day till you tell me you love me.
